Christmas Eve service brought to life the reason for this season... the birth of Christ, 




" For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. 
​And He will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace."

The live nativity coordinated by faithful members of Mahtowa Covenant in conjunction with Salem Lutheran and TJs Country Store turned out to be a great success with over 55 cars driving through. It was made extra special with live sheep and a cow in the manger.  We are thankful to those who coordinated it and those who participated.  
The tour started at Twice Told Tales where volunteers gave out candy canes and instructions.  And others directing traffic along the way.
From there visited the Wisemen at Salem Lutheran Church as the story was narrated over the cars' radio.
Then we headed to Mahtowa Covenant to enjoy the angelic chorus as they sang to the shepherds who were guarding their sheep.
Our final destination was at TJs Country Store where we enjoyed the last phase of the Christmas story, music and watched Mary and Joseph taking care of our Lord and Savior.

Talk about mix emotions!  We were thrilled that the Lord opened doors for Shelly and
Kris  to move closer to Shelly's family while providing Kris with a job where he won't have to work weekends!  God's grace is amazing! We rejoice with them but will miss
them so much. ​They have been a friend to each of us, sharing their talents, and
​ ministering in so many areas.
